This Privacy Policy explains how Mommi ("Mommi", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit withmommi.com, make a purchase or contact us. The store is powered by Shopify. If this policy conflicts with our Terms of Service, this policy controls regarding your personal information.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email.
  • Payment information: processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Account information: login details, preferences and settings.
  • Order information: items viewed, added to cart, purchased, returned or cancelled.
  • Communications: anything you include when you contact us.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser, device and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Where it comes from

Directly from you; automatically through the site and cookies; from our service providers (such as Shopify, payment and shipping partners); and from marketing partners.

3. How we use it

  • to process and ship your orders, payments, returns and refunds;
  • to provide customer support and communicate with you;
  • to send marketing emails, only where allowed by law; you can unsubscribe at any time;
  • to show relevant ads, subject to your choices;
  • to prevent fraud, abuse of our return policy and other unlawful activity;
  • to comply with the law and enforce our terms and policies.

4. Who we share it with

  • Shopify and service providers acting for us (hosting, payments, shipping, analytics, customer support);
  • business and marketing partners for personalized advertising. Depending on where you live, you can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page;
  • authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights;
  • a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.

Information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Transfers out of the EEA or the UK rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Host

The store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information to provide and improve its services. For certain enhanced features, Shopify acts as the party responsible for your information. 6. Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (generally up to 7 years for order records), resolve disputes and prevent fraud. We then delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send sensitive information to us by email. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the information we hold about you and know how it is used;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where required;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, and object to or restrict certain processing (EEA and UK).

To exercise a right, email hello@withmommi.com. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days, unless the law allows an extension, in which case we will tell you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

 

8. Children

The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
